After deliberation with parents, local community leaders and councillors a sport project was delivered to a group of young people who were getting into trouble with the police. The project enhanced educational, emotional, mental, and physical needs helping to motivate and change attitudes in the community. The project encouraged the young people to explore Behaviour, Citizenship, Culture, Responsibility and Territorialism; this was achieved by designing football kits, looking at the importance of emblems, organising football tournaments and designing promotional material. The whole community benefited from this project with the chairperson of Dallam Community House illuminating how behaviour had drastically improved. The project is ongoing with participation still high with over 15 young people attending each session.
