The young people of Shaftsbury youth club are taking part in a number of activities including, Jitterbug, Drama, Oral Histories, recording these activities in book format.

The aim of the project is to raise young people’s awareness of their local heritage, in this case the blitz raids of Birkenhead during 1940/41 are the primary focus.

The project will end with a street party where the young people will showcase what they have learnt.
